This equipment is a highly efficient and stable automated stacking solution specifically designed for plywood production lines. It utilizes advanced vacuum suction technology to grip plywood panels and employs a hydraulic lifting system for smooth lifting and stacking. The machine automatically stacks finished plywood or core panels transported from the conveyor line into neat piles, significantly improving the efficiency and automation level of the final stacking stage. It effectively prevents panel scratches and high labor intensity associated with manual handling. It is suitable for stacking various specifications of plywood, blockboards, and veneered boards.

 
Main Components
 

1.  Infeed Conveying Mechanism: Receives plywood panels from upstream equipment and positions them.
2.  Vacuum Suction Beam/Crossbeam: The core suction unit. It integrates vacuum piping internally and features multiple suction cups underneath that can be adjusted according to panel size for a secure grip.
3.  Hydraulic Lifting System: Comprising a hydraulic pump unit, cylinders, and a scissor lift platform. It is responsible for carrying the stack and automatically descending smoothly as panels accumulate.
4.  Traveling/Traversing Carriage: The suction beam is typically mounted on a traveling carriage that moves laterally along guide rails to transport panels from above the conveyor to above the stacking platform.
5.  Stacking Platform: Made of welded high-strength steel with a flat surface, used for receiving and stacking the panels.
6.  Electrical Control System (PLC + Touch Screen): Controls the automated operation of the entire machine, including suction, traversing, lifting, counting, etc., with adjustable parameters.

Working Process
 

1.  Positioning & Infeeding: Plywood panels are conveyed to a pre-set position beneath the stacker and stopped accurately by positioning devices (e.g., stoppers or photoelectric sensors).
2.  Lowering & Suction: The vacuum suction beam lowers onto the panel surface, the vacuum system activates, and the suction cups securely grip the plywood.
3.  Lifting & Traversing: The suction beam lifts the panel to a safe height and then traverses laterally along the guide rails to a position directly above the stacking platform.
4.  Releasing & Stacking: Upon reaching the target position, the vacuum releases, and the panel lands smoothly onto the stacking platform. The suction beam then lifts and returns above the conveyor line, ready for the next panel.
5.  Platform Descending: After each panel is stacked, the hydraulic lifting platform automatically descends by a distance equal to one panel thickness, ensuring a consistent drop height and neat stacking.
6.  Full Stack Output: Once the stack reaches the preset height, the platform stops descending. The full stack can then be removed by a forklift or conveyed to the next station via a roller table.

Q: How long does it take to adjust the machine when changing product specifications ?
A: Very fast. If your machine is equipped with servo drive and automatic width adjustment, simply input the new size on the touchscreen, and the suction cup positions and working logic will adjust automatically within a minute. For manual adjustment of suction cups, a skilled operator can usually complete it in 5-10 minutes.

Q: Does the hydraulic system leak oil? Is daily maintenance complicated?
A: We use branded hydraulic components and high-quality seals, rigorously tested to ensure no leakage. Daily maintenance mainly involves checking the hydraulic oil level and quality, cleaning dust from the suction cups, and lubricating moving parts like guide rails - it's very simple and convenient.

Q: If there is a sudden power outage, will the panel held in the air fall?
A: No. Our vacuum system is designed with pressure holding function or check valves. In a power outage, the negative pressure in the vacuum lines does not disappear immediately. Additionally, the mechanical structure has self-locking features (like hydraulic anti-explosion valves), ensuring the panel is safely held in place without sudden falling, ready to resume operation when power is restored.

Q: What is your warranty period? Do you provide spare parts?
