What is OSB (Oriented Strand Board /Oriented Structual Board) ?
OSB board, also known as OSB board or directional structure particleboard, is a kind of high-grade board, belonging to a kind of particleboard. Its raw materials are mainly soft needles, narrow wood of broad-leaved trees, fast-growing thinning wood, such as eucalyptus, Chinese fir, poplar thinning wood, etc. 3. In the production process of OSB board, raw materials such as small wood, thinning wood, and wood core will be processed into long planing pieces, after deoiling, drying, sizing, etc., they will be paved in a specific direction, and then made into oriented structural plates by hot pressing. The surface planing of this plate is arranged longitudinally, and the core planing is arranged horizontally, which makes the OSB board have high internal bonding strength and good moisture resistance
OSB Application:
Compared with plywood, MDF and joinery board, "OSB" has low linear expansion coefficient, good stability, uniform material and higher screw holding force. Because its shavings are arranged in a certain direction, its longitudinal bending strength is much greater than that of the transverse, so it can be used as a structural material and can be used as a force member. How to Produce OSB?

<1> Raw Materials:
Uusally by the small wood, wooden core, in some country, their bamboo are thick and good, it also can be used.
<2> Strands production:
By the Peeling machine to process the wood into wood strands as required thickness, length and width
<3> Drying step:
The drum type hot air drying system is composed of wood powder combustion chamber, drum, pipe, separator, fan, upper and lower silo. It is specially designed and made for drying wood chips, wood chips, sawdust. It saves energy up to 30-50% compared with the ordinary dryer, and can maximize the energy saving and drying cost. Mainly suitable for wood chips, sawdust, wine trough slag, rice husk, ore powder, coal slime, coal powder and other industries of large particles, large proportion of material drying
It can be designed to be different diameter and length as the drying capacity.
<4> Screening
According to the different selection of different screening methods, the design of a larger production line is generally selected roller screen, the design of a smaller production line can choose a circular swinging screen and then use with the air separator, the selected fine shavings can be made of ordinary particle board or fiberboard, dust, bark, etc., transported to the energy plant as fuel to burn.
<5> Glue blending process:
After scaled, the core and surface flakes are to be effectively and uniformly mixed with required glue independently in their glue mixers respectively.
<6> Mat forming process:
Mat forming machine is the key equipment for OSB production. It is evenly paved into a certain size of OSB according to a certain density requirement. The performance of particleboard forming machine is directly related to the quality of particleboard paving, and the quality of particleboard paving directly affects the physical and mechanical properties of particleboard. The development of particleboard laying machine has experienced the evolution of mechanical laying machine, air flow laying machine and hierarchical laying machine. At present, the particleboard laying machine used in China's particleboard production line mainly includes mechanical roller throwing laying machine, air flow laying machine and hierarchical laying machine. <7> Continuous Pre-press machine:
Continuous Multi-rollers Pre-press will press the incompact formed mat and make it more stronger, and be cutted as required size by the crosscut saw.
<8> Automatic Hot press machine with auto loader and unloader:
The conveyor belt and fast conveyor belt will convey the fomred mat into Auto loader, which will convey OSB into Hot press machine. Through Hot press, OSB will be solid and stronger. Hot press machine can be designed to be different layers as your production capacity.
After pressed, Auto unloader will convey OSB out to be the Cooling frame.
<9> OSB cutting machine:
OSB cutting machine will trimming and cutting the Edge of OSB, make its edge be clean and tidiness, and make each pieces of OSB size be same.
Then automatic stacked these trimmed OSB board
<10> Heating center:
Heating energy center includes many parts, to offer heating energy to OSB equipment. According to your OSB production capacity, it can be designed to be different capacity.
