Product overview
We specialize in designing and manufacturing high-performance, stable furniture substrate plywood production lines. Integrating advanced wood processing technology, automated control systems, and efficient pressing processes, this line is engineered to help clients mass-produce high-quality plywood for furniture with excellent flatness, superior strength, and compliance with environmental standards. The line features a scientific layout and can be customized in design and configuration according to client's factory space and specific capacity needs. It enables smooth, continuous operation from logs to finished boards, significantly improving production efficiency and product consistency.
Production Line Process
1.  Log Handling: Cross-cutting, Debarking.
2.  Veneer Preparation: Peeling logs into continuous veneer ribbons using a veneer lathe/peeler.
3.  Veneer Drying: Removing excess moisture from veneers using a roller or mesh belt dryer.
4.  Veneer Processing: Clipping, Splicing (core composer), Patching.
5.  Gluing & Lay-up: An automatic glue spreader applies adhesive evenly onto veneers. The veneers are then laid up crosswise (with grain directions perpendicular) either automatically or manually to form a mat.
6.  Pre-pressing & Hot Pressing: The mat is first pre-compressed in a cold press, then cured under high temperature and pressure in a multi-opening hot press.
7.  Post-processing: The pressed rough board undergoes cooling, edge trimming (cross-cut and rip saws), and sanding (calibrating sander) to achieve precise dimensions and a smooth surface.
8.  Inspection & Packing: Quality grading, bundling, and warehousing.

   Adhesive: Different adhesives are used based on environmental grade requirements, such as Urea-Formaldehyde (UF), Phenol-Formaldehyde (PF), Melamine-Urea-Formaldehyde (MUF), or higher eco-grade options like soy-based glue, MDI glue (no-added formaldehyde).
   Auxiliary Materials: Release agent (for hot press plates to prevent sticking), patching materials (for veneer repair).
