The specific difference between Spindle type and Spindle less type peeling:
Spindle type:
Using clamping shafts (mechanical clamping heads) : By clamping the logs at both ends with clamping shafts, it provides rotational power and is suitable for large-diameter logs (usually with a diameter of ≥15cm).
Relying on the wood core: At the end of the rotary cutting, a solid wood core (with a diameter of about 7-10cm) that cannot be further processed will be left, resulting in certain waste.
Rotary Spindle less type:
No-clamping shaft design: The log rotates through a pressure roller and friction, without the need for clamping at both ends. It is suitable for small-diameter logs, short logs or irregular-shaped wood (with a diameter as small as 3cm).
No wood core residue: It can almost completely rotary cut logs, with a higher utilization rate, making it suitable for precious wood
