This Thermal Oil Heated High-Efficiency Mesh Belt Plywood Veneer Dryer is a high-productivity, energy-efficient continuous drying solution designed for the modern plywood industry. Utilizing high-temperature thermal oil as the heat source, the equipment delivers stable and uniform hot air inside the drying chamber through a precise circulation and heat exchange system. Carried by heat-resistant stainless steel mesh belts, the veneer sequentially passes through preheating, uniform drying, and cooling/setting zones, achieving a rapid and gentle drying process. It is particularly suitable for drying various fast-growing wood veneers (such as poplar, eucalyptus), effectively handles high initial moisture content, ensures uniform final moisture content, and yields flat veneer with low breakage rates. It is a core equipment for enhancing plywood quality and production efficiency.
Working Principle
The dryer operates on the principle of combining hot air convection with mesh belt transportation. High-temperature thermal oil, heated in an external system (e.g., thermal oil boiler), is pumped to heat exchangers (radiators) inside the dryer. Clean air, driven by circulation fans, passes over the hot exchangers and becomes the drying medium — hot air. This hot air is then evenly and forcefully blasted onto the upper and lower surfaces of the moving veneer through specially designed air ducts and nozzle systems. The high-velocity airflow effectively penetrates the saturated vapor layer on the veneer surface, significantly enhancing heat and mass transfer efficiency. Simultaneously, a heat-resistant mesh belt conveys the veneer at a constant speed through the enclosed drying tunnel, sequentially completing preheating, main drying, and cooling stages, ultimately discharging flat veneer with the required moisture content.
