01 Oriented Strand Board

During the molding of the osb, the upper and lower surfaces of the oriented strand board arrange the mixed glue particleboard in the direction of its fiber, while the core layer particleboard is arranged horizontally to form a three-layer structural board embryo, and then the oriented strand board is made by hot press.

 

The shape of this particleboard requires a relatively large length and width, and the thickness is slightly thicker than that of ordinary particleboard. Directional paving/forming methods include mechanical orientation and electrostatic orientation. The former is suitable for large shavings oriented paving, while the latter is suitable for small shavings oriented paving. The directional paving of particleboard makes it have the characteristics of high strength in a certain direction, and it is often used instead of plywood as structural materials.
 

02 Main OSB Production Machine

Drum chipper for crushing wood and barks and trunks into the certaine size chips;

Vibrating screen for screening big wood strands, suitable strands, and chips;

Drying machine for drying the wet wood strands;

Gluing machine for make glue on wood strands and evenly distributed;

Forming line for uniform distribution of the flakes both lengthwise and crosswise as well as the layer formation of top and middle layer flakes over the cross section of the panel;

Continuous press machine for pre-press particleboard, and make it in a certaine initial strength;

Multi-layers Hot press machine for pressing osb board by high heating temperature and pressure;

Sanding machine for sanding particleboard surface, and make its surface smooth and thickness accurate;

Cutting machine for cutting the trimmed chipboard into the required sizes and specifications, usually with both cross-cutting and longitudinal cutting methods.
